Browse – if you’re not sure exactly what you want – all members are sorted into categories – making it easy to browse.
Advanced Search – Use the powerful search engine to specify exactly what you’re looking for: eg hair colour, height, race, language, special skills etc.
Keyword Search – Maybe you only remember the name of a production the actor was in, or the director of the production, or where the actor trained – you can search for the actor with just one keyword – it’s that easy!

Shortlist / Favourites
Casting directors often want to streamline their casting by shortlisting. You can browse or search for actors/presenters and then add them to your shortlist. This shortlist will remain saved with your profile. So whenever you login – your shortlist is available.
You can also email that shortlist to anyone – for example producers, directors or other cast members. They will receive an email with all the links to your shortlisted profiles.

Save a search that you regularly use and perform the search again anytime with just a click. Or actors can use this to AUTO NOTIFY them of audition postings. Any new audition posting will be automatically emailed to you.

Recommend
Anyone can recommend your profile to anyone else. So you can promote yourself to production companies, or promote your colleagues. Just go to their profile, click “Recommend” and compose a short email to whomever you like. A link to their profile will be sent to that person.

Hi, Yes anyone can join AADB – if you’re still in Acting School you can join under LASALLE/NAFA student subscription. However, it is unlikely any production will fly actors in from Europe. You may want to try AADBdubai.com which is a new site for Dubai actors and the region. It is new so subscription is currently free. The same applies though, that students may have to travel to Dubai on their own budget to work. However, Dubai is a quickly growing market.
Hi, I’m interested to join AADB, but I have no credit/cash card, is there any other method of payment? Also, for the free trial do you need to pay for a year first or anything?

Everyone is qualified to join. For those with NO experience – there is a NEW COMER section for both Male and Female actors.

Best way is to sign up under Actors Annual subscription – and place your profile under NEW COMER. You can discuss with your agency – you may want to put your agency as the point of contact.
There is a newcomer section for actors who have no experience. The industry is always looking for new faces.

Ask your parents to help you join AADB. You will need to join under ACTORS ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION. It’s free for the first month – thereafter it’s $150 per year. But at 12 yo you’ll need your parents to join for you.
