SEARCH FUNCTIONS
There are three different search functions you can use:
Browse - if you're not sure exactly what you want - all members are sorted into categories - making it easy to browse.
Advanced Search - Use the powerful search engine to specify exactly what you're looking for: eg hair colour, height, race, language, special skills etc.
Keyword Search - Maybe you only remember the name of a production the actor was in, or the director of the production, or where the actor trained - you can search for the actor with just one keyword - it's that easy!
BLIND EMAIL
If you wish to keep your email safe - you don't have to publicize it. AADB allows others to send emails to you without seeing your email address. Every profile has a "SEND MESSAGE" button which is linked to your personal email but cannot be seen by the sender.
SHORTLIST / FAVOURITES
Casting directors often want to streamline their casting by shortlisting. You can browse or search for actors/presenters and then add them to your shortlist.
You can also email that shortlist to anyone - for example producers, directors or other cast members. They will receive an email with all the links to your shortlisted profiles.
AUDITION POSTINGS
Post auditions in the "Auditions" category. Actors can check them online and even submit themselves right from within AADB.
RECOMMEND

Publicize events or an awards in the industry news section.
